My 4 month old does not like to take naps in his own crib. He sleeps in it during the night until he wakes to eat then I bring him to our bed but naps during the day he won't budge. Any tips to get him to start falling asleep in his own bed?

But I wish that I could have done it with less crying bc I hated that it was hard. But he didn't like the other ways it made him cry more 😞

Yes try it. N maybe that will work for him. Hey what ever works for you n baby. N I hated hearing him cry but honestly I tried everything n nothing worked for us. My lo is so stubborn. But he only cried a few days n by the 3rd day it was less than a min. So I was happy. I benefited greatly.

@hamman13 I hate hearing him cry. he literally screams where he starts to turn red and choke. His crib is in our room. Oh yes!! My mom gave a rocking chair to my grandma before I got pregnant and when I had my baby my grandma didn't want to give it back lol but she just passed away 2 months ago so I'm going to bring it home and use it. he loves being rocked.

And something I tried but didn't work for my kid was I had a rocking chair or you can use a chair and sit there in the room until he falls asleep till he gets used to it! Maybe it will work for you guys. It works for some babies not mine it just ticked him off lol

Depends on what your comfortable with. I tried everything for my kid but the only thing that worked was letting him cry. Now 7 months later he loves his bed actually cries for it and sleeps 7-7 all night

@elismommy428 @tahtahme but its not like i can just lay him in it and he goes to bed. its a struggle getting him to bed. he HAS to be rocked and patted on his butt

@hamman13 his in there right now playing and rolling around but when he gets sleepy and fussy I'll lay him in it with a stuff animal blanket and he starts to cry after a while of just laying there. I'll give him the pacifier and he starts to scream his head off

I agree with @elismommy428 that's what I was about to say!

it's actually good for him to do that. That way he'll know that when he's in his crib, it's bed time, and while he's somewhere else it's just nap time, but Of course you have to keep an eye on him if he wakes up, ones they start rolling it's really dangerous

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

Is what we’re doing okay? Currently for Harrison’s naps during the day (he needs like 3 of them still!) we have to push him in his pram and use white noise the whole time so he’ll sleep. At night it’s really just a case of he lays on the sofa with us and we put him in his cot when he falls asleep. We’ve never been able to just put him in his cot and let him fall asleep on his own as it just doesn’t work. We’ve tried so many times to get him to settle on his own which usually ends in us being up all night with him as he refuses to do it. I have looked through so many books/websites/YouTube videos and tried everything but it doesn’t work. I don’t mind that he only naps in his pram and I don’t mind him being on the sofa till he falls asleep either but is this okay? Or should we be doing it differently? Even when he stays over at his grandparents these are the only two ways they can get him to sleep too.
