I told him when I work how is he gonna do it.and when is off and I'm at work and it doesn't help that his mom told him he could bring the baby over and she would watch her for him.he had to do it one night when she was in the hospital and stayed up with her and said he didn't know how I do it.but now he says he goes to work and that since I'm home I need to do it.I told him he can't have his mom watch her all the time.and that's why when I go to work and he has to see it since I go in an hour before he does he will see.@nallely94,

The one time my boyfriend did that to me, telling me that I stay home and sleep with the baby I was like ✋🏼👊🏼 and told him exactly what I thought, week after got a job and now he takes care of baby for about 4/5 hrs before I get home and he asks me how I did it all day before, nothing like giving them a taste of the medicine and showing them how hard and time consuming it is to take care of a child! He treasures his sleep now, because I take care of baby at night but otherwise, 50/50 now cause nah ah. Well 75/25 cause I'm not much of a cook he tends to have dinner ready and house clean after getting home from work and taking care of baby, so he sees how hard it is and I tell him everyday how much I appreciate all his hard work

I do the same thing.even on his day off he just wants to be on his phone.and he wonders why when she cries or wants to lay with someone she wants me and not him

I do see where he comes from though. My boyfriend is a welder. He stands in a hot welding booth all day. I'm sure he doesn't want to come home and do a bunch of shit. I try to wait a few hours and Let him decompress first before I throw our daughter at him lol

I have done that and he will help for one day and then the next he says he is tired from work.and his family has even told him to help.

You need to tell him that. I told my bf that if I didn't get a break for a few hours I was going to go on a rampage and fuck shit up....I didn't leave the house or 4 weeks and had zero help with our daughter. Just had to snap for him to see I wasn't kidding. lol

my bf is the same way he says, " I provide the house, you take care of it." I'm home all day with our daughter while he works. I cook, clean, and take care of our 3 month old. It's not easy. It's a full time job too..only difference is that when he's off work..he's off. Done. We are always on the clock.

he says he works and that since he has helped feed her once and carry her around that I can do it.that I need to help myself before I ask for help.he said he works all day and that all he asks is for me to do the laundry and clean and take care of the baby so he can relax and sleep for work.so I'm up all night with her by myself while he sleeps.

damn :( . have you told him to help? like my 10yr old bro can do laundry and he goes to school. He should be thanking you for holding everything down. you have to be tired. I know I didn't get no sleep with my first other than when family would offer to help. He helped make that baby he should come home and take over baby duty and cleaning so you can sleep.
