I start my new job tomorrow and just had a miscarriage on the 5th..not sure how to talk to my fiance about not wanting to go. Honestly I don't want to do anything. I'm so depressed and frustrated. I just want time to grieve, I never have any down time and I'm unable to just push this to the side. I honestly don't know what to do..

@nichole_lynn, What the hell?? How insensitive can people be? Well thank you. I also have my follow up OB appt tomorrow at 2:30. So we'll see what happens.
I went through this too and had to go into work a couple days later, I so badly didn't want to either. my boss even asked me for proof that it happened. like seriously?! but being around people helped me a lot, it took my mind off it for a little while. @mirahall18
@jmw, I wish I could, but we're struggling with money right now plus trying to plan for a wedding. I'm so stuck right now. We'll see what happens. God has a plan for everyone I guess.
@mirahall18, I completely understand and in the end you know what's best for you. it really is hard and no one around me seemed to understand how I could be hurting so much for someone I'd never met. feel what you need to feel and if starting a job seems too big of a task right now start a job when it doesn't. you've gotta take care of you.
@jmw, I'm sorry you had to go though this as well...it's not cool. Im already diagnosed with clinical depression so Im not handling this well at all. I'm not sure if I'll be able to delay my start date because it's a new company and they're training people before the grand opening. This sucks so badly.
I had a miscarriage and didn't do anything for two months....i fell further and further into depression and managed to really hurt my fiance in the process. maybe see if you can't delay for a week or two, but once I started working and focusing on something else it really helped. you'll always think about the little one you lost and wonder, but look to the future and be the best version of you because you deserve it and that baby will always be yours...I'm very sorry you're going through this
@mirahall18, sorry I was at work and spaced out afterwards. and just listen to yourself and don't overdue it. sometimes pushing what happened on the back burner makes it Harder to process while other times allows time to process in your own way and pace. I hope everything works out money wise and with your wedding, and just know that God is taking care of your little angel. also (sorry I know super long) I miscarried in October and was worried I couldn't have babies because it was my third one, and I'm almost 12 weeks now and I just have a feeling I'll be holding this little one for many years to come. if you ever need to talk feel free to message me, I wish I had support with my own grief.
