ok so I want to have my daughter on her exact due date. is it possible if I tell my doctor that I want to get induced on that day, she will let me?

Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. All you can do is asked but you also don't know how long you'll be in labor for, you might get induced the exact day of your due date but might start pushing the day after.

even if you're induced on her due date it could still be days before she comes... best to just walk and try to do it naturally! I was induced with my son at 39 weeks 2 days and had 39 weeks 5 days via emergency c section

@ryannsmommy I'm sure they will it'll just be elective induction, I know mine does it if you measure over a certain amount :) cant hurt just to see its not like your asking to be induced at 37 you'll be 40 weeks

Every OB is different. They may want to make you go a little longer. My OB offered to induce me a week early if I'm too uncomfortable. So it all depends on what they're willing to do. They could schedule a c section. Unfortunately most inductions lead to c sections because the baby isn't ready yet.

most likely if there's no medical reason, then no. but I don't know how your Dr's practice works
