Really trying hard to be able to breastfeed... baby girl has a posterior lip and tongue tie so she's not able to latch. still pumping every 2 hours and producing a little less than 1/2 ounce everytime... any other tips.. on helping to breastfeed.. I've been supplementing with formula. hopefully I start getting more milk soon..

Maybe try using a nipple shield? That's what I have to use with my daughter because she wouldn't latch after we left the hospital
Yea it takes something like 3-7 days for it to fully come In. Lots of skin to skin helps too! @rhamilton6615
Oh okay she is only 5 days old so I was thinking that could be the reason!!
Also if you just had her it might take a couple days for you kill to fully come in.
Also try hand massaging your breast as you pump or laying you baby on one breast while you pump the other. And check to make sure your pump cups are the right size. @rhamilton6615

Have you tried Mother's Milk tea or lactation cookies? My breastfeeding consultant says she swears by them.
I use one and still nothing
