Hey mama's can I have your attention please?!
Everyone I know tells me that being a stay at home mom is not a job, because I'm not making money while I'm home but I'm up early cleaning, changing diapers doing laundry, buying groceries with my (link card)
making breakfast/dinner us mama's don't get vacations! and when my spouse comes home from a long day of work he relaxes, BUT I'm constantly on the job (24/7) So is being a parent a job, yes or no?
@emkasting, my Mom was a stay at home Mom when I was little, me and my sister's have good/bad memories with her, I admire stay at home mom's because not only do they work their asses off, daily but also giving the children a good childhood. I'm over protective of my baby an bad thoughts run through my head whrn thinking about letting someone watch him that isn't me or his daddy..
What annoys me terribly is that my bf's mother calls stay at home moms "brownie bakers" and says they are useless and don't do anything blah blah. Her whole life has been about work and although I admire the work ethic my boy says none of his childhood memories contain good thoughts of her, only bad ones because she was always working or always yelling about always working.
YES it is a job. I want to be a stay at home mom with my baby, he's due May 14. My mom was a stay at home mom and my childhood was amazing because of HER. She worked so hard to give my sister and I everything while my dad was always out of town working to provide financially. My bf says he wants more than anything for me to be able to stay home and he said he's willing to do anything to make that happen
Heck yeah it's a job! Look up how much we'd get paid if we did get paid for it. It's like 110,000 a year. Too bad we didn't get paid for it but my girls love is enough pay ❤️
Yes. My husband knows when I'm a stay at home mom for our twins it will be my "job" he already supports me and knows when I need help he'll be there to help when he off work. It's something you really have to discuss with your so and make sure he understands. My husband and I have been talkin. About it since he decided he wanted me to be a stay at home mom
It's definitely a full time job.
Hell yes it is!! Girl don't worry about what people are saying. You know what you have to do everyday. And if they are not feeding your kids or paying your bills them and their opinions are irrelevant! 😊
Yes it is, people always have something to say but without us they would be shit less
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
@greysonsmommy22, same! And I don't want to work specifically so I can make money to pay for day care, because it is SO outrageously expensive, especially for a reputable place. It just doesn't make sense that I would work enough just to pay for childcare when I would rather be my own childcare haha
