Hey ladies! So just wondering what are everyone's thoughts on the tdap vaccine during pregnancy? I'm thinking I'll just wait till after they're born to get one on me. I don't want to expose them to that much aluminum before they're even born!
flu shot is safe too..my oldest son had flu n strep throat at the same time n my other son catch neumonia.. both of them were sick and thanx to flu shot I didn't catch anything!
the tdap has been proven if you taken during pregnancy your baby is less likey to get whooping cough because your body will make the antibodies and share them to your baby
I got it at 32 weeks preggers my arm was sore for a couple of days but nothing major..it's better to be safe than sorry!
Yeah ^ they said it helps them build immunity to it and it's cold/flu season so i just asked for it :) it's ultimately your decision but I'd get it
it is the only one that I even made sure my fiance had. I don't do flu shots, but whooping cough is no joke and it helps protect them against it before they're able to get the shot on their own
getting during pregnancy doesn't harm them. it gives them the immunity to those viruses
Yeah true. That's a better reason but I haven't gotten sick yet and I'm not in any environment that would make me feel pushed to get it either.
That's the only shot I got. Only because my little sister had whooping cough and I didn't want to go through it with my daughter.
