This isn't baby related at all but I'm kinda upset about it..
So last night a friend of mine messaged me saying she wants to die, (I will post screenshots), and I asked her why, and when I asked her that she sent me a video of her arm all bloody and cut.. 😳😩 So I did what any friend that cared would do, I called the police department and told them what she told me and told them about the video.. I'm sitting here telling my friend that I called someone and she totally blocked me..... 😒😁😢 Here she is saying nobody cares and all this, but yet I tried to get her someone. Because someone who's actually been through this, cutting and trying to comitt suicide, it's not fun and nothing to play around about... I was just trying to get her help... 😔💔 But I guess she didn't want it.. I'm upset that she blocked me.. Like what the fuck? I tried being there.. Ugggh sorry ladies this just really upsetted me and on top of that the police didn't call me back... 😒😒

Something my father has told me "If someone who has a mental illness is happy with you, you are enabling them, if they are mad at you, you are trying to help them." You did the right thing. You don't know if she would have hurt you if you had gone over.

she was probably doing it for attention? but you did the right thing to call the cops to get her help

Yea I feel like she did it for attention as well, saying the video was an accident and such. Maybe it wasn't even her in it, maybe she was just seeking a reaction. But the cop part I understand, because if it is true they could take her kids away probably and stick her in a hospital. You should have went to her and spoke to her in person. But all in all you did what you could do and that was the right thing.

@no062014 is right. You did the right thing. It's so hard but hopefully she'll come around when she's in a better state of mind. But as for the police not calling you back, I'm horrified. It's their job to protect the citizens, even from themselves. That's why the Baker Act exists.

@hellokarly, she doesnt have kids... I cant go to her in person because I dont have a car, I dont know where she lives and if she was hurting herself Idont want her ending up hurting me..

Been there, done that! I did it anonymously and the focus went from treating my friend to "who called the cops!" They still don't know to this day that it was me. 😒

@eternal_0ptimist, I got baker acted and I thanked the friends who helped me out and called the cops on me. I was thankful that I got baker acted cause if I wouldnt of I'd probably be dead right now. This subject is no joke and I try to help but I feel like I M a bad guy now because she blocked me.
