@eternal_0ptimist, I got baker acted and I thanked the friends who helped me out and called the cops on me. I was thankful that I got baker acted cause if I wouldnt of I'd probably be dead right now. This subject is no joke and I try to help but I feel like I M a bad guy now because she blocked me.

Been there, done that! I did it anonymously and the focus went from treating my friend to "who called the cops!" They still don't know to this day that it was me. 😒

@no062014 is right. You did the right thing. It's so hard but hopefully she'll come around when she's in a better state of mind. But as for the police not calling you back, I'm horrified. It's their job to protect the citizens, even from themselves. That's why the Baker Act exists.

Yea I feel like she did it for attention as well, saying the video was an accident and such. Maybe it wasn't even her in it, maybe she was just seeking a reaction. But the cop part I understand, because if it is true they could take her kids away probably and stick her in a hospital. You should have went to her and spoke to her in person. But all in all you did what you could do and that was the right thing.

Something my father has told me "If someone who has a mental illness is happy with you, you are enabling them, if they are mad at you, you are trying to help them." You did the right thing. You don't know if she would have hurt you if you had gone over.
