Not passing any judgement but it is really frustrating seeing moms post about how they are trying to force their babies out before they are full term, please don't take anything for granted. I am high risk and everyday that I get through is a blessing, and I can only hope & wish that I make it full term with my baby girl no matter how uncomfortable I become or how anxious I am to see her. So mommies please be mindful .

@gypsy.soul2, I just don't get how they could take something like that for granted and risk having their babies hooked up to all kinds of tubes . I guess when they don't have the problems that we do they tend to take that for granted .

I have posted something similar to this, and I agree, I understand women wanting to get labor started if they are like over 40 weeks but sheesh at 35 weeks some are talking "I just want this baby out of me" I'm sitting here thinking (as a former nicu mom) be careful what you wish for, it's not all sunshine and roses if your baby has complications

I'm also a former nicu mom and took progesterone shots for 20 weeks. As much as I want to see him and am ready to be done, I'd love to make it to my scheduled c-section date

I agree 100%. It drives me nuts too! My cousin had 3 premature babies. She had to do soooo many things just to keep her last baby in as long as possible. He came at 35 weeks.

@sarahdrew I get close to tears thinking about if I have to leave my baby in the NICU , and on top of that just two weeks ago I was sent to a hospital because I was starting to dilate and honestly that is the scariest feeling ever , a feeling I wouldn't even wish on my worse enemy . These babies lives are no joke

some chick was telling my cuz to drink castor oil, she was going on 39weeks and the Dr was going to be and you seen her the next day but still... you need to let them babies cook in there wombs tell they are ready.... if you can that is there are some medical reasons to have them a bit early sometimes but still let them cook for as long as you can... I'm having a c-section on the 17th 3days shy of 40weeks if he dusent come sooner but I have reason for having a c-section

When u get to 38, 39, 40 or even over that. Trust you'll feel the same way. When the baby is full term, there's nothing wrong with taking APPROPRIATE measures to help start labor. I just walked and my baby came but my sister walked and did plenty more and her baby came at 41 weeks. Either way, they come when they're ready to.

A major problem is that due dates aren't always accurate. They can be off by a week of two. So you think you're forcing out a 38 week baby but it could actually be a 36 week baby. that's why you should let things happen when they happen. Walk. Do some squats. Yoga. Maybe a little massage. That's about it and only after 39.5 weeks.
