My daughters dad pretends to be interested when he feels like it but doesn't actually make any effort to speak to her etc. I plucked up the courage one day to go round his mums and she was so embarrassed by his actions (he had lied to me about telling her and said she wasn't interested in my daughter) then he found out what I had done and that she had given my daughter ££ and flipped! Then found a way for his mum to change her number. The only person he listens to is his older sister and I have been tempted to track her down and tell her but is it even worth it??? You've tried reaching out and if you get ignored that isn't your fault... When your son is older if he asks you to contact them again pls do so if the same happens again eventually he will understand. My daughter is 8 this year and is starting to understand that he is the problem not her. I'm here if you ever want to talk x

You're welcome & thank you 😊 when I was going through I had my older sister for encouraging talks as her daughters dad is hardly there. She let me know that I can only do my best for her and myself and not hold any grudges. That's exactly what I've done and she's turned out great. If he were to get in touch tomorrow and say he wants to see her, if try to arrange it. If he fails her again he is only making himself look bad. Love your and support your boy as best you can and hold no grudges. You will be great mom and your son will recognise that everyday xxx

This way you have done hour part and informed them of ur baby boy and now it's their choice she might not have responded un till she speaks to the grand parents etc!! either way you will be a fantastic mum and all your baby needs ... my daughters dad didnt bother at all he's worthless she is 13 now and do you know what in the last year when he tried to talk to her she told him to go away !! that feeling is amazing x
