Everything I've read online about sharp shooting pains down low are leading up to labor... I'm only 29 almost 30 weeks, and have been feeling this for a good week and a half!
I'm terrified that I may go into labor too early!! it said the pains will occur hours, days, sometimes weeks ahead of time before labor.
I have to call my OB tomorrow, but I cant help but to worry! /:

Probably sciatica. Once your uterus gets big enough it can press on the sciatic nerve in your spine. Can cause shooting pain on both sides and in your hips. I had it really bad from 26-32 weeks. Try shifting positions and using a heatpad. If it gets really bad try getting on your hands and knees and rocking your hips back and forth, it can shift your uterus off of the nerve.
it's not my hips though, I have an aching feeling in my hips. But this is a completely different shooting pain feeling literally feels like it's in my vagina. it's weird!
