When I'm breastfeeding my DD I feel so sleepy. When she falls asleep I'm full of energy. Why??? 👀

Breastfeeding releases certain chemicals in your brain. They make you sleepy, and some Moms will even describe it as a high.

Agreed with above, it releases oxytocin and other hormones that cause you to be sleepy...when your lil one falls asleep and isn't nursing anymore it prob wears off and you don't feel the effects anymore unfortunately
