So I was just thinking about this again, and I was wondering if I made the right decition....I'm a minimalist with medication and that's why I had a natural birth....well yesterday she got her immunizations done, and I allow that because in my opinion the risks of those diseases out weigh the risks of the vaccines and also I want her to be free to go to any school without having to be home schooled like I was (we lived in the mountaines for a while then we moved to the "ghetto" and my mom didn't want us in schools where there were shootings regularly)...anyways, forget that lol the real reason I'm writing this is because the doctor tried talking us into giving her the flu shot now that she's 6 months old, but he said there's only a few weeks left in the flu season so it's not like it will have a lot of use....but he tried scare tactics and said if she got it she would likely be hospitalized etc. etc....well at the last minute when the nurse came in we decided we didn't want it, and the nurse said that's fine and didn't give it to her...we decided there was no use at this point to get it, I had the flu really bad just a couple weeks ago and have been sick 3 times since I had her, so I figured if she managed to dodge it all this time that she would be protected enough by my immunities through breast milk to handle a few more weeks of flu season....do you think we made the right choice...? I'm just worried....
