Before I got pregnant my periods were just one day of cramping and then 6 days of just nothing but bleeding and I was comfortable. After my pregnancy and I got the mirena inserted I have cramping and I've had it for the past 5 days.I'm not liking this at all. makes me wish there was a form of birth control for men that would last 5 years. let them take one for the team.
@b3autifulm3ss, oh god. that sounds horrible. what did you change to then? and my doctor told me to stay with it 4-6 months to make sure I really don't like it before I can get it removed so we'll see how it goes.
@momma1, lol really? well good thing it worked for you! for me it's just cramping that I'm just not used to & it started light for 2 days so I got happy for a few days thinking well it didn't stop my period but maybe it lightened it up. wrong so wrong haha.
@nikolaismommy, migraines, spotting randomly forever, dizziness, serious weight gain, nausea, and muscle aches
@nikolaismommy, I have the mirena and haven't had any problems ,my periods have always sucked so it didn't make a difference
@b3autifulm3ss, what was your experience with it? & my doctor told me that was very rare tho o.o
@nikolaismommy, vasectomy for my husband 😂 I dont do birth control anymore (no oopsies either). I have a serious phobia of weight gain… I was 230 for quite a while after my middle son was born and all birth control has weight gain side effects. I work too hard not to gain weight to have something so stupid hinder that.
