I need some advice ladies, my son is almost 3 weeks old and u have been exclusively breastfeeding. I love doing it, and he loves it too but last night I had a break down. for most of the evening into the late night my son wanted nothing to do with being off of my boob. I couldn't put him down or give him to my husband for anything. because of this I'm feeling disappointed in myself and just upset. I don't want to give up but I can't even pump enough to pump and save for when he does that. my husband will be going back to work Saturday and I can't be stuck on the couch all evening with baby boy stuck on me. (we have 2 other children) I hate being this emotional. has anyone else been thru this? if so what did you do? I really don't want to do formula but I hate feeling how I feel. thanks in advance.

@kirasmommy0420, I understand. my kids are 10, 6 and 3 months. all boys lol. I'm still adjusting. My husband and I just went on our first date since the baby was born and my boobs were so hard because he hadn't nursed. I made my husband and older two kids help out alot. oh yea plus I had a c section which took a month to heal. Trust when I say I understand lol. Feel free to message me anytime for encouragement. ♡
@auburnmom2, I'm trying it's hard with 2 other kids and my husband goes back to work tomorrow. but I'm trying to stick it out. I was thinking about getting a wrap but my boobs are huge! I have to hold it so he can breath so that probably won't work lol
No one tells you about that part of breastfeeding. My son is now 3 months and finally stopped wanting my tetas all day. once they get older it gets better. Dont give up mama ok! you can do it. I bought a baby wrap so he can feed while I get stuff done.
@crunchymomma, ya I know what ur going thru ive been without a drier for a month so we have been taking stuff to my mother in laws to wash but haven't for a week so I've been doing the same thing.
I only have 2 nursing bras, and my baby has acid reflux. we didn't have water for a week and couldn't do laundry. so I had to either wear smelly bras, or just free boob and hope I didn't leak 😂
but yeah definitely look into something like that, it would make your life soooo easy.
@crunchymomma, i only have one nursing Bra and that's the only bra that fits right now so I don't want to go cutting that up lol I'll have to see if I have an old sports bra.

take an old sports bra or something and cut holes in it just big enough to hold the flange of your pump, then you can pull one side up to nurse if you'd like and stick the pump on the other side and you won't have to hold it. although if you're big boobed it make be easier to invest in one of those snap free nursing bras that you just pull down and whip your boob out, and do it to that. it'll still hold nursing pads because the hole should only be about an inch wide, but then you can hands free pump without buying a pumping bra for $40.
@crunchymomma, ok well hopefully tomorrow will be better because he's doing the same thing today. I've tried pumping while feeding him but my boobs are big so I have to hold it while I feed him so when he's feeding I have no hands
nursing like that is completely normal and it won't last forever. your baby is most likely going through a growth spurt, which means they will need more milk than what you're making now. so they nurse nonstop like that for a day or two, called cluster feeding, and it signals your body to make a lot more than its already making that way you can keep up with your baby's needs.
after they finish cluster feeding you should be able to pump between feedings and begin building a stash.
you also might wanna try pumping and feeding at the same time, you'll get more milk that way.
No I haven't looked into that yet, I'll have to look though cuz I really don't want to give him formula. I've tried that but he always seems hungry Idk what to do and it seems that my right boob makes so much more than my left boob. on Saturday we celebrated my husband's birthday at his sisters house right down the road from my house and I had pumped about 10 oz that week for the night so I could have a couple beers. and at 5 am when I woke up I was so full and leaking everywhere. I was completely sober so I pumped and from the left boob I only got an oz and from the right I got 3 oz but that's the most I have gotten ever at one sitting. I don't get it I've started to put him on my left boob first now to see if that will up my supply but it doesn't seem to help yet.
that's exactly how my milk supply was have u looked into something that could make ur milk supply greater? I know how u feel....I always felt like I had a baby stuck to my boob n couldn't do anything, yet I also liked it bc no one could hold them for too long lol I was selfish. What I did was I would feed my baby on one breast....wait for the other to get hard and then pump it I would get 3 to 4 Oz then.
@mantha823, ya I had some saved that was going to be for friday, so I had my husband feed him last night because he starred to do the same thing. but when I pump I only get 1-2 oz and that's from both boob. so I can't save up enough. when he uses the pumped milk he drinks 3-4 oz at a time and since I'm only pumping so little I can't keep up with him
It's not easy breastfeeding does take most of ur time.....have u thought about pumping and having ur husband feed him? I suggest do that....it'll give u a break and gives ur hubby bonding time with baby.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
