Breastfeeding moms, when did you give baby a bottle? I was shooting for 6 weeks but being the only one waking up with her is really starting to bug me and make me resent my s/o.

I introduced it at like a week and a half and she went back and forth between boob and bottled breastmilk with no problem and still at 10 months she goes back and forth easy I guess it depends on baby but they suggest waiting 4-6 weeks so your milk supply is pretty regulated and not to get any nipple confusion. I think it also depends on the bottle DrBrown were the only ones she liked and when she got older at like 6 months we switched to tomee tippee

I would try. we tried every kind of bottle, nipple, pace feeding. everything I could think of and finally I had enough. you could try a pacifier to, sometimes that helps but again my daughter wouldn't take one

My son hates it too! The doctor brown nipples are wayy to big in my opinion. The Tommee Tippee have been the best for us! I hope it works out for you😊 the only thing you can do is slowly introduce it at the same time everyday so that they get into the routine of taking a bottle at a certain time. I had such a hard time with my son and just wanted to give up and seriously thought he would never take it! Now I can just pop a bottle or boob in his mouth with no fuss lol

I've been pumping since I got my milk in! I think I might try so if we do have problems we can work it out before I have to go back to work @saradrew

you can definitely try.... at 4 weeks they say you can pump... try to get bottles that are used to go between breast and bottle

My son is almost 4 months and he bottles feeds and breast feeds every day. I introduced a bottle at 2 months and of course he hated it and refused it but I kept trying and now he takes it with no problem! We've tried many different bottles and the ones that he will take are the Tommee Tippee ones. The best way to introduce a bottle is to do it when they are starting to act like they will be hungry soon but aren't actually hungry yet. He wouldn't take it for me until about 2 weeks ago so my husband was the first to successfully feed him while I wasn't in the room. They say you should stick to one kind of bottle for about 2 weeks before you try a new one! Does she take a binki?

Do you think I should go ahead and try, especially since I do have to go back to work? It makes me a little sad that's my one job no one else can do lol. @Sarahdrew @steph11

I am in the process of trying to get her to take one, I am going to talk to my lactation consultant tomorrow to see what she suggests...

So what do you guys do?! I have to go back to work in April so that makes me a little nervous them not taking bottles at all! @steph11 @sarahdrew
