Different me and my husband brought a bag for us, and then his diaper bag with his clothes. We also brought his baby book so they could put his foot prints in it (:

I brought comfy pants for after the baby comes, I brought some travel size shampoo/conditioner/ body wash ( my hospital provided towels) , hair ties. For my son I just brought 2 outfits one for while we were still there, and one for going home. The hospital gives you everything else you need usually. My hospital even sent me home with a bag of diapers, wipes, and little formula bottles.
