My baby is a week old and still won't stay latched on, I've tried using a nipple shield which sort of helps. She'll stay on for a couple seconds then come off. I've been pumping and supplementing. I still don't want to give up breastfeeding tho. What are some things I could try that could help?

maybe you should try pumping first a little then giving it to her, does she choke?

They didn't tell me anything at the hospital? She'll only stay on for a couple seconds then comes off. /:
