So I put on a pad today because I thought my period had started but when I went to go pee I noticed the pad had something dark dark brown , then when I wiped I had this dark almost black gooey thing... anyone had this happen to them? BTW I am 9 weeks pp

Not good, should really go see your doctor. is there any white almost yellow substance mixed in it?

It could be part of the uterine lining that's shedding from your period, but you could be having a light period so not much blood is coming out...I used to have dark colored stuff that was gooey looking when I had my period, but always had bleeding with it too...I would still check with your doctor just in case, ask if it's normal because it's always better to be safe than sorry
