Anybody know much or talked to their midwife about combination feeding ? X
I'm just confused about it , I have been so against breastfeeding and been sure I'm going to bottle until now @sweetsesame
Maybe give a go and see how you get on? Baby might not be too demanding and if it gets too much for you then try both or go with just bottle? That's what I am going to do, if I have another big baby I can only meet demands for around 3/4 months (from I remember) and then I will do bottles at night so baby will sleep through the night x
See i don't really want to breastfeed as I don't feel I will cope well with the demand of it all , so was thinking if I did both it would be best of both worlds @sweetsesame
Mine didn't recommend it until around 4 months so that baby doesn't have nipple confusion. If that happens then baby won't latch onto boob properly which can be painful. I am going to go as long as possible with just breast but if baby is too demanding i will express & use bottles as well.
Speak to your midwife then Hun and see what she says as she may have good advice for you and maybe help you decide if breastfeeding is right for you. I would say go with your gut and so what you feel comfortable with x
