Has anyone had a C section & your baby was full time breastfed?
I had a C section with my son, when he was born they automatically took him. No skin to skin, no time to breast feed & I had the hardest time breastfeeding! I'm pregnant again & want to breastfeed.
Any advice on what I can do this time around?

I had a c section and my daughter has been breastfed since birth. Make sure you tell them you want to breastfeed. Request that you get baby as soon as the hr wait period is over for breastfeeding. I didn't get skin to skin until we were in our post partum room but I still breastfed her an hr after they closed me up.
I’m scheduled for a c section Thursday and I’m a bit nervous.

I have a question for mothers that have had a C-Section this year.... Did the doctor let you have skin to skin time with you baby right after they took the baby out of your stomach??

We are TTC #3. I really want to have a vaginal birth this time (if I do end up pregnant) but I've had 2 c-sections in the past.
@keyrataganas, I had a c section and once in recovery I immediately did skin to skin and breastfeeding to this day 9 weeks later. And I'm exclusively breastfeeding.
