I know it's very painful, but it's only day 4, it will get better if you keep at it! Your lil one has to learn how to latch, and there are people at WIC who can help you learn to help him latch better and you can also contact Le Leche League in your area to speak with a lactation consultant! I promise, it may be super painful at first but I'm tellin ya, I've managed to breastfeed my girl without any bottles for 6 months and once baby perfects that latch it doesn't hurt anymore! If you really can't tough it out anymore I respect that, sometimes it's just too much to handle along with being a new mom and not getting any sleep, but just keep that in mind there are a lot of resources and people who can support you through this and help to achieve a pain free breastfeeding relationship 😊

Ah man I'm not looking forward to it....my girl is 6 months old and I'm dreading the day she finally weans, I love breastfeeding her....hopefully it will be a smooth transition and we make it the full first year at least!
