My daughter was born on Saturday and I am breastfeeding. At first there was no pain or discomfort, but now it hurts to the point that I just want to stop right then & there ! I heard to try warm or cold compresses and the nipple cream. Anyone have anything else to recommend?

Try a lactation consultant. They will have you feed while they are there and help you through it. They are the best for solutions

If your nipples are hurting, get some nipple cream and check the baby's latch.

If your engorged try expressing some prior to feeding. It may make latching more difficult

Oh yeah that's a bad latch problem. I agree go to a LC or watch how to on YouTube. Is the other one like that also?
