Don't understand why my dr hasn't had me do the glucose test yet ready to get it over with

Unless you are high risk they usually don't do it until 26-28 weeks

I know but with all my other pregnancies the visit before the test they normally give me the drink to take home with me and drink on the way there but they haven't even mentioned it I will be 26 weeks at my next visit I'm guessing they are gonna surprise me and be like your stuck here for an hour for the test and everything which is what I don't want I don't like surprises lol I would like to have notice of when it's gonna happen so I can make sure I plan the rest of my morning around it

Yea seems the Drs around me do things so much different than the ones I see everyone on here talking about lol

Well the women who does appointments told me it will prob happen at 26 weeks that's when he does his but idk we will see I hope 26 weeks cuz for now I am gonna plan my morning around that

I got mine at 29 weeks

I think it varies to when you get your appointments my Drs appointments have went 4 8 12 16 20 and then I had to schedule a dr appointment ahead of my actual appointment for last month so I messed schedule so I would have been 28 weeks if I would have kept my schedule right and not go to the dr for something else cuz my actual appointment should have been for next Monday not this Monday so I would have been 24 next week and then my next one would have been 28 and I would have got the glucose that day but I messed my appointments up lol I hope I didn't confuse anyone sry

Yea mine would have been 28 most likely to but I messed up my appointments they told me at the next dr visit we are gonna get me back on the right appointments lol

I didn't get mine until today, my old doctor had me scheduled for 28 weeks, went in and they refused me because i was switching to a midwife. so at midwife appointment today they did it for me.

They dont test you for it until 28 weeks.

No I am being tested for it at 26 weeks at my dr that's what the nurse told me I called and spoke with them before they closed lol I was worried cuz I forgot if I can eat or anything

I'm getting tested the 8th I'll be 25.5 weeks

It really depends on the dr honestly just like with ultrasounds my dr is only obligated to give one the ones he gives after are him being nice lol
