For some reason I'm not making enough milk to fill my baby up :/ I pump and get maybe an oz between both sides (given that is with her feeding at times throughout the day) are there any foods I can eat to give me more milk or should I just increase my food intake?

How old is baby? Is baby having enough wet and dirty diapers? Typically, you want to wait until your milk supply is established (4-6 weeks) before pumping. It's totally normal to only get about an oz between both sides your first time pumping. Pumping is also no indication of how much you are producing as baby is much more efficient than a pump.

She'll be 2 weeks on Thursday. She is having regular wet and dirty diapers. Last night she didn't poop at all but pooped 3 times within 10 minutes this morning so it all came out at once. I just feel like she's not eating enough because she'll eat and still be fussy but if I feed her formula she passes out and sleeps for 3-4 hours. Also I worry because my boobs don't get hard and they haven't gotten any bigger

Trust your body it will adjust . The first couple of weeks are rough but it does get better. But I take fenugreek pills and eat tons of oatmeal, add 100oz of water a day and you will be good to go:) have u been checking her latch? That could keep her from getting all the milk

You don't have to be hard to be producing milk. If she's having enough wet and dirty diapers you're making more than enough! Babies will cluster feed and seem to eat constantly when you're breastfeeding--they can digest it more easily so they eat more often than with formula which takes them awhile to digest. Like @myliltadpole1116 said, oatmeal and lots of water can help your supply, but it doesn't sound like your supply is low! And it's normal to only pump an oz or so at first.

@myliltadpole1116, @kmally thank you ladies :) I will try eating oatmeal more often to see if that helps (hopefully it does) she does latch because I try to pull it away and she won't let go to save her life sometimes.

@nicolerawrr, I think you two will be just fine. Just keep at it and make sure she's latching correctly with her little lips and let her nurse as long as she wants. 😉 best of luck to you mama!
