Breastfeeding does hurt for the first couple of weeks while your nipples get used to the pain @suddymaya my daughter had the perfect match right off the bat and my nipples still hurt for the first 2 wks

breastfeeding shouldn't hurt after the initial latch...
you may need to see a lactation consultant if you're in pain.
