I have had Braxton hicks every 10 minutes for the past 3 hours. Is this normal? My belly and back are so achy it's unbelievable
I saw the midwife yesterday with the same issue, her advice was to take paracetamol and if that didn't work to phone the birth centre but period like cramping was normal and the bodys way of getting ready. However if they are in a regular consistent pattern it could be labour/slow labour which may start and stop. I think I will try the water too personally x
I find it get worse if I lay on my side. But I get it however I'm lay & switching position doesn't seem to change it. I've not tried drinking water @mrsmowmow x
Lol!! I'd be the same I've asked my midwife before I make any drastic movements 😂 they've calmed down slightly now 😅 xx @mlk252
I was at the hospital the other day due to my Braxton hicks been so regular and so painful thought I was going into labour🙈🙈😂 xxx @demi_leigh
It really is. Sometimes it feels like I need to poo they're that painful lool. Think everyone's different and it's just a matter of time. I've never gone through it before so I do not have a clue what to expect 🙈 @baby316 xx
It's so difficult to tell isn't it. Mine have been getting more regular and stronger over the last 3 days and a few nights back I was convinced it was labour but didn't come to anything. I've been in labour before and still have no idea. Sorry I am not much help. Other than waiting until they get more and more painful I don't know what to say. You will know when it's proper labour as it will get painful. x
They're getting stronger and more frequent throughout the weeks. I wouldn't say like intense though, it just feels like I have cramp but in my stomach... If that makes sense? It's only been the last 4/5 days they've started to feel stronger, longer, more frequent etc. Midwife at the hospital told me its normal. But they're coming a lot more frequent now @baby316 x
My Braxton Hicks are the same. Always painful and get really bad back and rib pain. I'd keep an eye on them and see if they carry on. Are they usually this regular? Mine have got more regular over the last few days but not every 10 minutes or in any kind of pattern x
My Braxton hicks are always painful. My belly goes so tight & I get like a period sensation in my lower back @baby316 xx
Braxton Hicks aren't usual regular or in a pattern. Have they intensified at all or are they painful? Xx
Ah thank you ladies. They seem to have eased off now, maybe it was just this morning lol! Xx @mrsmowmow @misssc4
