my due date is Sunday and still no baby :( I'm starting to think all my scar tissue from my endo surgeries is making my cervix not dilate like it's suppose too. I was having real contraction 3-5 minutes apart and they sent me home because it wasn't changing my cervix. I am still only 70% effaced and a finger tip dialated. :( I just want my baby girl!

oh my gosh this is the first time I've seen any other person on here with endo! I never thought about something like the surgery effecting dilatation or birth. Are you considered high risk? have you had any issues at all with your pregnancy? and have you tried anything to help speed up the process? walking? bouncing on a ball? having sex? maybe your baby is being shy

Ahh I have never seen someone on here who's had endo surgery! My mom had it 7 times and was still able to give birth natural. So don't get your hopes up! @jessie1394

@kaylaweilert, I have had the surgery once and was sh ducked to have it a second time but then found out I was pregnant. I so far, have had an absolutely wonderful pregnancy! But my doctor always told me since I had such bad endo that would be happiest pregnant. & he is right. My pregnancy has gone by too fast, I want to stay pregnant. I'm not ready for those horrible periods again 😖 and everyone tells me oh no you're gonna want to get that baby out, Nooo you don't understand how bad periods are!

I've only had one surgery I got a positive pregnancy test 5 days before my second surgery so I have to wait until after I have the baby, I'm not looking forward to periods again either! My doctor had me convinced that if I was able to concieve (she told me it was very unlikely, along with 3 other doctors) I'd be high risk and I was so scared I'd have a horrible pregnancy, but now she said nope everything is great and everything looks fine. Glad to hear your pregnancy has been good, puts me at ease

Ahh that is crazy I was scheduled for surgery 10 days after I found out I was pregnant. But yes so many specialist said its gonna be hard... But women in my family are known to have high fertility! Thank goodness. But hope your pregnancy is just as easy! Are you gonna try and do the surgery as close to having baby as you can? @kaylaweilert

see I'm not sure, I haven't really talked to my doctor yet. wouldn't they make me wait until I stop bleeding? I'd rather get it over as soon as possible

I actually hadn't asked my doctor either, that's why I was wondering if you happened to talk to your doctor about it. I have a feeling he will tell me to wait until I get my first cycle. And then he will schedule it again. But i am with you, I just wanna get it over with. I wish they could do it when you have the baby. That way the healing would be a once time process not dealing with healing after birth and again after surgery. The surgery isn't horrible but you're still limited on driving and 20lb weight lift first couple weeks. @kaylaweilert

I've had surgery 4 times for endo but I've actually had surgery 5 times once for my appendix. I've tried everything to get her to come from sex to walking to my yoga ball but I am not even dilated enough for the doctor to sweep my membranes. I've had a pretty easy pregnancy with no real complications but I just am not dilating even though I've been having real contractions

so ladies with endo, u were saying how painful periods are, my question is unless ur ttc are there meds u can take to stop ur periods or lessen the amount of them through out the yr. personally I don't have many periods bc of a hormone imbalance but was told there's really no reason to have to have a period unless ur ttc. I also had the Implanon and that made me have fewer periods.
