My husband has blue eyes and I have brown. Twins have grey and they are 3 months. Their ped said usually they change by two months but it could take up to a year too! Im hoping they stay light tho just bc my hubby really want them to be like his lol

my middle child had the most stunning blue eyes till he was about 5yrs old, now he has green eyes (no clue were that came from). my ex husband had brown eyes and I have blue. my oldest has brown eyes and my youngest has blue (and yes all e of my kids have the same dad).

I'm also curious about this. Because I myself have green eyes both my parents have dark brown and both my brothers have blue. As a little girl my eyes were blue n all my pic it's crazy but n like 2nd grade they started getting more green and my hair wasn't as blonde. One grandma has blue do how on earth did I get green. I'm not sure what makes all that change but it's amazing.

I've read that the color can completely change up to 6 months, then after that the shade can change up to a year...so by 6 months if baby has greg eyes still, then after that they can be like darker grey or lighter grey....it all has to do with hormones and shit lol
Nope, I mean sometimes that's the case but I know tons of people that their babies had blue eyes then around 9-11 months their eyes changed to brown. my daughter has blue eyes and they never really made a big change, they just lightened up to the blue color she has now, so I guess in that situation it only took a few months. But as far as changing to other colors that can take a bit sometimes! not all the time though.
baby's eyes can change anywhere up to a year usually, some people say they can change even later than that, but usually by a year.

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.

Your Going To Be Bum Out Because My First Son Had Gray Eyes And I Swear They Were showing But Nope They turned Brown Like Mom, My Son Did Not Get His Daddy Light Hazel/Bluish eyes.I Was SO mad.
