so every app I have says baby boy should be 3.5 to 4.5 oz but he's measuring 6 oz is that normal

You're diabetic, so if you're not controlling your blood sugars it will make your baby larger

Well my sugars have had a mind of their own lately I'm actually in the hospital getting them under control but they haven't been to to bad

I've been type 1 for 13 years now, your A1c goal for pregnancy should be 5.5-6

My A1c was a 7.5 with my first daughter and she had a lot of complications and was born at 34 weeks- 9lbs

my daughter was 36 weeks and weighed 9 lbs 11.9oz but my a1c was 5.69th

it's a 9.7 now

It actually can be normal. My last us baby was 9 oz, and every app said 6-7 oz was average for that week. When I asked my OB, she said 8-9 oz was normal for that week. Long sorry short, it could be the diabetes or just be normal @diabeticmommy
