second time mom here, the first pregnancy I was young and had to go back to school after birth so I personally felt bottle feeding was best. now that I'm 24 and pregnant I really want to breastfeed because it is what our bodies are prepared for and I feel it's only right. any suggestions on helping prepare my body for it and suggestions on actual breastfeeding? thanks :)
thank you so much! you are a doll! I will definitely keep in contact as time gets closer for me so I can ask the questions that arise. @indigenousmommy
I wouldn't worry, as long as you have baby latching every couple hours your breasts will produce what it needs. My milk didn't come in til 4 days after baby was born but I did research and talked to lactation consultants and they said the colostrum was enough to hold the baby over until it came in. The nurses are going to pressure you to supplement with formula so be prepared for that.
thank you! and I don't have any certain questions as of right now, am only 16 and a half weeks so still have plenty of time lol, I sure will come and talk to you once I do have those questions. my biggest thing is my concern of not being able to produce as much as baby needs. @indigenousmommy
What do you want to know? I breastfed for a year with my son so I can give you some tips or whatever. You don't really need to prepare, your body does most of the work whether you use the milk or not. My best advice is to drink lots of water but I'm sure you already do that. Lol
Noooo problem :) anytime!
