Hi ladies, today is week5 day1 for me. Went to the doctor initially to get my blood work done. For some odd reason he suggested we do Transvaginal ultrasound. He told me if I'm lucky I'll be able to see the baby's heart beat, if not, just a black dot. He ended up telling me "unfortunately I do not see the sac" he listed three possible outcomes: 1. Healthy pregnancy that is too early to see on ultrasound 2. Miscarriage 3. Ectopic pregnancy. I ended up getting blood drawn and will have to wait for another on Monday. He wants to monitor my hcg levels. I am so worried I can't eat or sleep...is this common? Is it too early to detect the baby??

Yes it's too early. They told me the same thing up until I was 9 weeks I believe but they actually diagnosed each one. First it was I had already miscarried, then after monitoring my hcg levels for two weeks they said it was ectopic. Then I went to another doctor for another opinion and they said it was a late start and that there is a baby there.. Now I'm 35 weeks... Don't freak out like we did just relax :)

I done the same thing I had to go for a few ultrasounds before they seen anything at all at first they told me same thing they told you then they said I caught pregnancy really early like maybe at 2 weeks prego...now I'm almost 26 weeks and she is healthy as can be

I was told ectopic pregnancy at this same stage && of course got depressed but I waited a week and went back and everything was normal it was just wayyy to Early

They didn't do anything except take blood until I was around 10 weeks then I got to hear the heartbeat, so I'm sure it's just too early :)

Im 11 weeks almost 12 and the same thing happened to me. I was cramping and bleeding also but my lil one is just fine. I was worried because i had experienced both an ectpic as well as miscarriage before but God has special plans for this one....
