you shouldn't wait until you feel full to pump, that tells your body that it doesn't need to produce more since it's not being extracted. it's all about supply and demand, the more you pump or allow baby to be at the breast the more your body will produce. if your trying to build your supply, I suggest power pumping. I went from making 1-2 oz to making 6-10.

To keep your supply up you feed on demand. If baby is under 6 weeks old you really shouldn't be pumping unless you a Absolutely need to. This will cause an over supply and that hurts. 😭

Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖

Breast pump covered by insurance

Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
