Any moms using nipple shields to breastfeed? My son is a week old and I have inverted nipples. My nipples are hard but when I go to put it in his mouth they go in. So frustrating! Anyways I'm hoping he will get stronger in a month to the point where he can suck without the nipple shield.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
My nipples are sore when I touch them but not my actual boobs. Going on 18 days late.
I have questions for women who breastfed with flat nipples, and didn't use a nipple shield. How did you do it? My son didn't latch and I got really discouraged, I'm very determined to breastfeed my daughter without a nipple shield but I have flat nips and I want to know how you ladies did it!

Me too I would have gave up with out it also it's a live saver

@hamman13, that's great! I would have probably gave up if their wasn't the option for a nipple shield. @tahtahme oh yea and it must be harder breastfeeding two. Big props to you mama !

I have to use with one twin because her mouth is too small and weak to latch. we try every day, but she still cant without. I am glad the tool is there because breastfeeding would be a lot harder for her and me.

Without it I wouldn't be still breastfeeding.

I used one for 4 months. It was the best. Now we don't use it. But it's great. I loved it.
