Received my postnatals yesterday and started taking them (4 a day). They help with lactation and even natural energy for me. I have to say I love not feeling run down anymore now that my body is getting vitamins and stuff I needed after having my daughter. Love these whole food postnatals ❤❤
I don't like the cover either. I've thought about buying those camisoles that clip onto nursing bras
I definitely suggest practicing the two shirt method, it's when you wear two shirts, one that could be pulled up and one that could be pulled down underneath, that way it covers everything but your nipple which baby will be attached to lol just keep a blanket handy for when baby unlatches so you can quickly cover lol but since I learned how to do this, I have become a LOT more confident about breastfeeding in public, and have enough done it at a restaurant! Which is great, because my girl always HATED covers, she always got super hot and sweaty and would fight me with the cover, and I hated trying to do that to her 😔
That's what I'm afraid of is doing it in public. I wanted to pump for outings or for road trips for family vacations. I've only fed her in my car so far. Pulling over on the side of the road a few times. I haven't got the hang of my cover up yet @hellosweetie
Yes omg...I used to try and give her breast milk with a bottle to make it easier while we were out but NOPE. She refuses it...it's definitely hard cuz I can't go back to work for a while and also I had to get comfortable with breastfeeding in public and that was hard for me...but it got easier!
My daughter is definitely an eater too. Yeah she loves the boob. Not a fan of a bottle even when I've pumped. Which I've only done 3-4 times. Not a huge fan of pacifiers either. Thanks hun @hellosweetie
Good job, mama! Breastfeeding can be really hard, especially so if your girl is anything like mine...she won't take a bottle or pacifier so it's all about that boob! lol...but it is definitely worth it and will save you a lot of money! If you ever have any questions or need support just let me know 😊 I'm always there for breastfeeding mama's if they need help 😉
Formula is expensive. Both my boys were on formula. I'm trying to stick with bf for a year so we will see how it goes. I haven't given my daughter any formula so far.@hellosweetie,
Definitely will, and trust me I know what ya mean with the nursing lol....I've been exclusively breastfeeding my girl for 6 months now! It gets tough and takes a lot outta ya, but it's so worth it....plus I've never had to buy formula 😉 which is nice cuz that stuff is expensive! I had a friend tell me she spent $300 per month on formula I'm like daaaamn!
Its doing wonders for me. Especially since my body has been depleted of a lot of vitamins since I'm nursing my daughter. I know I can't get all of them from food since its hard to always eat super healthy. If you get some let me know how it works out for you @hellosweetie
I might have to get some of those....6 months pp and I still have no energy most days....gotta push through though! Especially with a 6 month old who won't hold still lol
@hellosweetie,
