I'm on second pregnancy, but I got pregnant really soon after the first. I have a 6 month old girl right now and I'm due June 2016 with a boy. I don't know if I should have a baby shower. what do yall think?
I don't see why anyone would tell you no...a baby shower isn't to celebrate the couple being parents, it's to celebrate this new life growing inside of you. You could have 10 babies and 10 baby showers if you like. I say do it! Especially if it's a different gender. PLUS, they're always coming out with new items for babies so why not let your family/friends help you out a bit ❤️
I'd say have one it's a different gender and there are no rules on showers.
didn't know there was rules and code law for baby showers, but I say hell have one...why not .
I would because you're having a boy. A baby shower is an event celebrating baby.
Technically no. The baby shower is an event to celebrate the parents becoming parents. Plus you should have everything you need. Some people will have a "sip and see" after the birth. However, tons of people still have another shower.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

I see a SUPER faint line! Or I'm crazy.. Pic was taken within 5 minutes. Either I'm pregnant or I'm having line eyes.

I'm such a sucker for these!! Unfortunately I'm rocking the baby to sleep and I have no clue what color my underwear is. I'll have to get back to ya'll!!
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
I cut the cable
I decided to get rid of cable ?. I'm hoping I don't regret it! I'm on a big saving splurge now that I have a lo. Anyone else get rid of cable? How's it going?
yes do it! you're celebrating for the new baby on the way, not for the parents becoming parents. . plus you're having the opposite gender so you would really need the babyboy stuff. just like she said ^ you could have 10 babies n 10 babyshowers! lol
