@theemmariefactor, I am, but it just shocked me to have her straight out tell me not to be brave....idk maybe it's me but after 5 years of trying I wanna do everything that's best for this baby!

I honestly don't know how I think of it. It's not that it's that Surious to me but I just don't See a reason TO get the "drugs". but unless it's really in your heart not to, don't be offended. She thinks She is telling you for your benefit because probably 85-94 percent of women that WANT to do "what's best" honestly can not handle it and end up wimping out at the last minute and getting the epidural. Just being honest.

So I think She just doesn't want you to be disappointed if you end up in that Situation.

Lol you don't realize how much bravery it Actually takes to go ALL THE WAY through with a completely natural birth.

I did it with 3 of my kids my other two i took the epidural and it did'nt help me at all. And im not taking it with my new baby. Trust me u can do it

@yasminguapo, thank you, I'm sure she meant something like that it was just how she said it. ....@coko, thanks :) great motivation I just don't like all the effects I've heard and read about. ... after a couple miscarriages and trying so long I don't wanna risk the health or anything of this baby! I think I can handle the pain without drugs, I've never liked drugs and don't wanna stay relying on them now

Its alot of pain but trust me fight through it ms. lady you will survive congrats

do what you feels best...I had 2 natural and hope to do so with my 3rd but many things can happen best wishes no matter what you do...just make sure it's your choice don't let anyone make you change it unless you choose.

I wanted to do an all natural because it was important to my fiance that I did. and his mother wouldn't shut up about how bad it was and it was gunnu mess up my back. mind u she got a. epidural with all 3 of her kids? & I tried so hard. my water broke at 34 weeks spontaneously, I was induced by pitocin because the baby was premature and was at risk for infection because my water broke at 1am and I didn't go in the hospital until 1030. I didn't know it was my first.. and I tried so hard and at the end at 9cm (I never got to 10) I ended up getting an epidural because I couldn't take it anymore. I had all back labor and by the time i was at 9 they were telling me to push and I couldn't I was exhausted it was either an epidural or c section and I got the epidural. I was crying to my fiance telling him sorry and he was so supportive throughout the entire thing and never was angry with me but was glad I at least tried.. it was a very traumatic experience for me and now I won't be going through so much before deciding to get the epidural. we as woman know what our body can take and is telling us. listen to your own self don't let anyone's opinions have an impact on yours<3
