anyone with medi-cal/medicaid have their baby circumsized and know how much they cover? we are trying to decide whether to go through them or my SO's aetna ppo but everyone i call never gives me a straight answer on how much the copay will be at either the hospital or pediatrician office. any info anyone has on either insurance types will be appreciated!

@whitneym, well just got off the phone and was told its not covered at all thru them bc its now considered cosmetic 😩 so sad lol hopefully now its covered thru my so's!

@soon2bmama2mdh, if you have medical they should call when you are like 38-39 weeks to confirm your pre registration at your hospital. I was told my insurance (medical/ anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield) was 100% covered. Do you have straight medical or something under it? I have medical but my insurance is Anthem Blue Shield Blue Cross. If you have something like that you could try calling them instead.
@kim5309, they cover it 100%?! and and at the hospital? or pedi office?
When I had my son 6 years ago Medicaid wouldn't cover it at all because it wasn't medically necessary.
