I'm 33 weeks today! 🙌🏼 However, my doctor and I have yet to have a conversation about a birth plan. Did your Obgyn sit you down and talk to you? Or did you guys have to coax them into talking about it? I want to know all of my options her big arrival, even if a birth plan doesn't always go as planned.
Also, what are some way to bring this up to my obgyn at my next appointment?
Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
I had the talk about periods with my daughter since she was 8. Whats the age you mothers will or did have that talk with your babygirl or girls??
Just curious when did your dr bring up making a birth plan & when did they suggest you register at the hospital you're gonna have the baby at? Mines hasn't said anything about it since my first check up.. Also how necessary is it to have a birth plan ?
My mil wants me to call her to talk about my birthing plan because she doesn’t agree with it...what do I even say without being rude. I’m heated.

I am very open with my OB. We talked about everything and how I hope things go and she tells me her opinion.

I had to being to conversation up at my appointment, I waited until we did everything that needed done for the appointment and then at the end he said ok anymore questions I said yea when can we schedule my csection lol and he was happy to sit back down and schedule it.

I had mine when I was 28 weeks? It was in my packet when I first checked in and my doctor and I talked about it afterwards. You should bring it up at your next appt if your dr doesn't.

@kaylamcclellan, @momof3girls, @jenmoool, I'm just nervous I'm always jumping the gun when it comes to things that need to be discussed, I feel like they know what they're doing and I don't. My next appointment is next week, so I think I'm definitely gonna bring it up next time. Thanks. 😊

You never know what can happen so better for everyone involved to know the game plan. It will put your mind at ease also!

I'm the same way but it's ok im a planner I like to know what's coming up so I can prepare especially since I have kids.

I'm going to visit family through March and April and I'm due June 9th, so when I get back if my obgyn doesn't bring it up on their own then I'm bringing it up whether it's too early or not.
