if drs do a transvaginal ultra sound and I'm at 8 weeks 3 days think I can hear the heart beat?

I had one done that way and saw the heartbeat but didn't hear it. I think every doctor is different. Mine said it wasn't good on them to do it when they're that small. I didn't get to hear mine until 12 weeks on the doppler.
