any other mommies not doing a nursery? our house only has one bedroom so we are just planning on putting our sons crib in our room but are getting criticised for it, with family members saying we should at least put him in the living room... so now I'm unsure as to how we should go about it:/

who cares it's your kid. baby will need to be in your room for a few months anyway to really thrive. our toddler was in our room all the way til age 1. she's fine and isn't clingy at all.

we're having our daughter in our room I wouldn't even feel comfortable having her in the living room I think you'll be fine let them talk.. if it matters that much to them tell them to get you a bigger place and your kid can have all the nursery they want .. as long as you have what u need for the kid and love that's all that should matter not them having their own room they'll never remember

We won't be doing a nursery. I have two other kids. They didn't have a nursery. When they are that small, you will want them in your room for late night feedings anyway.

I won't have a nursery and my baby is going in our room too. Im not putting my baby in the living room cause I feel like it's too close to our front room and if anything were to happen or someone were to break in (has happened to us before) I want the baby with us. There's no reason they should criticize you for it. 😊

We won't be doing a nursery either. We have a one bedroom and she will be with us. I would not want her in the living room by herself.

Our daughter shares our room. It's not a big deal. We just decorated her portion of the room, and her changing station is in our closet.

my daughter is 2 years old and she's been sleeping in our room in her crib. its not a bad thing! we are upgrading to a 2 bedroom soon and she will be sharing with her little brother when we move. its no biggie having them in the same room as you :)

My daughter will be in our room for at least 3 months if not longer. After that she will share a room with her sister. We have no need for a nursery. Don't worry about what anyone else says, you do what is best for you and baby, that's all that should matter

you have to do what your space allows. I like the decorating her area though. :)

I just read an article about SIDS & it said less deaths occur when the cold sleeps in the same room BUT not in the same bed as the parents. So I think you're doing just fine!

it's actually recommended for the baby to sleep in the same room as you for at least the first 6 months
