I'm a little confused. I see the answer as 40. but someone has said 96 and used his logical explanation... which is what confused me. anyone wanna explain? more pictures in the comments

@alyen2, I guess its a property in which I'm just not thinking of. lol it's crazy though. I feel like both answers are correct though.

I did 1x4+1. 2x5+2. 3x6+3. 8x11+8. It's weird how everyone views it differently!

@alyen2, I thought 40. because 1+4=5 then I did 5+5+2=12. from there I did 12+3+6=21. 21+8+11 gave me 40. math wasnt my best but. the way he put it with the 7+9 is 70 is what truly threw me off
