I'm really trying not to cry but I'm really feeling bad. I'm pregnant & I live with my boyfriend who is great but I feel like I should be married or at least engaged right now and since I'm not I'm feeling like a failure :( I see my friends getting engaged and married, even ones that haven't been together as long and I'm just trying to be patient.

I don't want to get married. I feel like I was pressured to get engaged to my fiancé by friends, family, and him. I really just don't want to get married again. At all. Ever.

I need to vent I'm so tired of this man I swear if we were married right now I would bury his ass. So I'm trying to get dress and my son is coming off the bed mind you this house is wood floor and wood every thing in this bedroom. Well this fool I call my fiancé was watching my child come off the bed and just watch him fall back off the edge hitting his head on the hard wood floor and when I pick him up trying to calm him down. He wants to get mad at me because I won't pass him MY crying son please. I'm so tired man he don't get it. I hate sitting in this house and just cooking and cleaning this is not I love Lucy my nigg. Then like he didn't even by my engagement ring I bought my own ring like tf... I'm tired of his complaining ass. I can't do this anymore I'm trying for the sake of my unborn child but I think I was ment to be single. Ugh I'm stuck I don't know what to do. If this is what it's going to be like when we're married I don't want it. HELP ME !!!!

If it makes you feel better I'm living with my boyfriend and we're pregnant and 21 weeks and we're not married or even engaged, nor is it something that's probably on the way and we're completely happy! We've been together 4 years and we split bills right down the middle and everything we do and buy is ours not his or hers! Marriage is just a ring and paper...And i got rings and paper a plenty 😁

Marriage is a beautiful thing but it is not a necessity and please don't feel like that. What's important is that you're growing together, loving one another, and happy. Truly happy and appreciating one another as you should. It will come but patience is your best friend. Let things take course and fall into place as it should.

@miasiacheyenne, yeah that's kinda how things are with us, he pays most of the bills though . I just feel like it's something I want sooner and it's something he wants later or maybe never . @taegenice I'm trying to be patient it just really hits when I see everyone else but you're right

@ljmommy, I completely understand, sometimes I'm all for getting married and doing the whole shabang and get really sad when he doesn't agree and then other days I remember I have the same thing the married people do or it's even better than what they have.the feeling comes and goes because from what I understand my boyfriend doesn't see the point in marriage

Don't base your happiness or success on what others are going through. Not trying to compare but I had my first child at 19 for a man I thought I'd be with forever, we were together for 4 years. I didn't get married until I was 25... To someone else, after only a year of dating. Your happily ever after will come. Don't think you've failed because everyone else is getting married/engaged right now. Don't miss out on your happiness tryna keep up with the Joneses
