I would Start buying pregnancy Stuff immediately but not actual baby Stuff until Second trimester or of course after you find out the gender, Depending on how gender Specific you want everything to be.

I started a 6 weeks basic stuff bottles,wipes, I'm 14 wks and gotten all this so far . this is #7 between my boyfriend and I so we're not having a shower
If you do, do things like diapers and wipes. I'd wait to find out the gender before you buy too much big stuff or clothes. You'll also probably get a lot of stuff if you have a baby shower, so keep that in mind too
Start buying whenever you feel ready ! I'm 11 weeks and I started a little at 5 weeks. Last week I bought neutral clothes, burp cloths, receiving blankets, wash cloths, towels, random neutral stuff . I want to be prepared ! I don't believe in waiting to buy stuff because that's more stress, only have a few months to prepare for a baby! & I don't rely on baby showers either. I know what I need and I know I'll get it myself .
