This is my Jaela Rae, my pretty little princess, the other half of my heart. This has been the most terrifying, eye opening experience ever. I had been CPR certified for years, but NEVER thought the first time I performed it would be on MY child. My baby, my 2 week old. I'll never know why God does things, but I know that my family is now closer than ever. We pray a little longer, we love a little harder and we no longer 'sweat the small stuff'. Our Jaela is a miracle, they told us she wouldn't survive, but we know our God is able and he is the ultimate healer. Every day she gets stronger and stronger, the doctors are amazed; but we know it's nobody but God! And although they still don't know what happened or why, we have already declared total healing in Jesus name! She is off the ventilator and breathing on her own with the help of a little extra oxygen. All tests have come back negative. OUR BABY IS ALIVE!!

To everybody that has sent their well wishes and prayers, from the bottom of my heart I thank you! Without all of your prayers and kind words I don't know how I would be able to deal with all of this. This is seriously one of the best community of women and I'm so happy to be a part of it. God bless you all! And PLEASE, don't stop praying. God isn't through with us yet!
