Does anyone else leave their boyfriend's parents' house when they're home?

Does anyone else take off from their boyfriends parents house when his parents are home off work just so they don't have to be around them?

When my boyfriend and I lived with his mom, if he had to work and his mom and I were both off, I'd leave until he got home. I hated being there alone with her. She was just either awkward and didn't talk or when she did talk it was about things that made no sense and half the time made me mad.

@mlees, I've been staying with them since at least August. So I've been here longer than 3 months. I hate it.

@scc2413 I haven't been able to work because of how sick I've been, but I babysit to make up for it. Any time his parents are home & I don't have to work though I take off. I have to drive my boyfriend to & from work though. His car died, it's been dead for over a month now. His parents said they'd help him fix it a while ago, but since then they've only bought car parts for his moms car & a wifi router. I'm moving in with my mom next month & they all know this so my boyfriend is probably going to lose his job since no one else wants to take him to & from work, & I'm wondering how he'll get to the hospital when our daughter decides to make an appearance.

Yeah when I lived there it was with my boyfriend and his sister who's 15 years younger then us who can't do anything for herself so it was like living with a toddler then his mom who was the messiest person ever. His grandma also lived there and she literally is the devil in disguise. I ended up leaving and going back home to my dad's and now he's moving in there also until we get our own place in may. Just being there for 5 months made this pregnancy horrible because I was constantly dealing with them. Even my boyfriend and friends realized I acted happier once I moved out. Why doesn't your boyfriend move with you or is that out of the question? Does your city or where he lives have a bus system that he could take until his cars fixed?

No he lives in a super small town, & I want him to but at the same time hoping the separation will make him step up a bit more. @scc2413

@madi-girlsmama, It honestly does help a little. My boyfriend and I haven't actually lived together for a month and a half now and we've gotten a lot closer. Being at his mom's and because she was the way she is and his grandma is just pure evil and would always be so mean to me for no reason, it put a big strain on our relationship. Once I moved out and starting feeling happy again and not stuck in a place I didn't wanna be, everything got better. Granted he still sucks at communication, he's been more aware and preparing for parenthood. One thing I've realized is that the mom matures 1000 times faster then the dad. Sometimes it takes the baby physically being here for them to realize it.
