I understand as a parent you have to put your children's happiness first, but what about yours. ?
There is nothing wrong with putting your happiness first as well because your happiness is a part of your child happiness..

I know exactly what you are talking about. I think that everyone just has their view on it, maybe some people feel that they are being selfish. I've seen mother's that never put their children first and I've seen mothers that never think about themselves..wearing ratty clothes just to buy their kids top of the line shoes and things. I think we've just got to find balance in all of that and to do so is ok.
Lol you right about that but I've heard so many different opinions from a bunch of great mothers but the fact that some think that your happiness never comes first that just sticks with me and I wonder you know @maybaby2016
I totally agree. I see women getting so lost in motherhood that they never do anything nice for themselves. you've gotta think of yourself too because " If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" lol
it's wonderful! we have 5 kids, this baby will make 6. motherhood is a beautiful thing.
