They will schedule your c section for 39 weeks, most likely. If you didn't have preterm labor before, you're unlikely to have it next time, so I wouldn't stress too much on that! You can likely handle some contractions, but the more intense they get the higher risk it becomes, so if you suspect you are having contractions it's always safer to go in labor and delivery to check, if they need to they will perform an emergency c section asap if you're having true contractions and they believe you are at risk. I'm sure it will all work out just fine though, your risk of uterine rupture is around 9% to 12% I believe, so in all likelihood you will be just fine 😊

I don't have an incision that your describing but I do have a close friend who isn't allowed to go into labor because her body and heart can't handle contractions, she just had her 4th baby. They just schedule a csection before full term and she has to be very careful afterwards as well.
