'Bought' a hutch off someone on Facebook.

They asked £10.

I've had to get a man and van to collect.

The person selling told the man to get the hutch without asking for money.

She literally closed the door and went about her day without talking to them again.

She's now saying she's going to the police for theft.

But he was given access to the garden and the hutch, without her asking for the money.

Is it theft?

I'm so confused.

Not theft at all!!! Maybe some sort of scam by her?? He's got nothing to worry about, I believe he only would if he'd forced entry etc.. also if you've got the messages to her or the original advertisement that will support both of you
