My sons first accident we've never had a bloody nose or anything he's done pretty good for a two year old but today while we were helping a friend at her job like we do all the time he decided to play with the heavy glass doors(the store is in a mall) and I had told him several times to get away from the doors well he didn't listen and tried to close them and he got one and when he went to do the second one bam got the tip of his finger I didn't freak out as I'm trained in first aid my first reaction was to spank him for not listening and I grabbed his hand then I noticed it was bleeding so I went and got a baby wipe and cleaned did all my first aid on it and when we went home I got gauze and medical tape and wrapped his finger so if he bumped it, it would be protected and won't hurt. But looks like he will lose the top portion of his finger nail and his finger will probably bruise pretty bad. Just what I need a week before his bad comes home and 2 weeks before a photoshoot. I hope it won't look bad.
